Rumpistol
started as a musical solo-project in 2001/2002 and released his
critically acclaimed debut album in 2003.The album received airplay by
the late John Peel at his legendary BBC Radio 1 show, and several tracks from the album were licensed to different compilations.

Apart from producing music, he also run the label Rump Recordings, has performed live at festivals such as Fusion (D), Roskilde Festival (DK), Amsterdam Dance Event (NL) og Electric Picnic (IE) and has played numerous of concerts in North Europe, Mexico and Russia.
This year he finished his great third album 'Dynamo' wich will be presented on this event.

Quotes from DYNAMO reviews:

'Dynamo marks a triumphant return to the field, filled with warm electro-acoustic timbres and patchwork beat.' - (Boomkat)

'With
'Dynamo', Rumpistol has made a flowing and totally inviting albumthat
will captivate all but the most heartless of listeners. Itsglistening
melodics, brooding atmospherics, oozing basslines andcomplex
micro-orchestral arrangements gel with such harmonic intentthat the
power of the end result is nothing short of enchanting.
Highlyrecommended to all who require a shining beacon to get them
through thedark depression of Winter.' - KS (Experimusic)

'While the new album is very much in the vein of his past work, it'snow
cohesive like never before. The disparate influences he taps into mold
together beautifully; experimental and pop sensibilities mergeinto a
wonderful sound that demonstrate the careful precision ofChristiansen's
craft. Where a lot of electronic releases have flopped this year,
Rumpistol is set to steal the limelight.' - (The Silent Ballet)

Bjørn Svin: click here

Bjørn Svin is a live performer and producer of experimental electronic dancemusic.
He started making music in 1992, and released his first record in 1995.
Since then he has produced several albums and 12”s, as well as music for films.
In the late nineties he became a 'techno pop-star' with the hit “Mer Strøm #2”, and reached cult-status in most of Scandinavia.
Bjørns
music can be described as a kind ofrave-hip hop-fusion-techno-jazz with
a positive energy connected through repetitive but still quite complex
beats.
What sums upBjørns work is a personal energy rather than
a certain style and some would claim that his music belongs in the
electronica category, rather than being plain dance techno.

Bjørn himself says:
'I do narrative dance music. Music with tension, energy and drama.
Music that aims to be not music; I am tired of music being only music. It is too straight for me..
I want music to trigger my imagination.'
Other People said:
'
I saw Bjørn Svin live at Roskilde Festival
this year and it was one ofthe best live performances I've ever seen.
Not only does he make great music, he also dances around, getting a
real good contact with the audience. Often most live-sets gets kind of
boring after a while but not this one. So if you have the chance to see
Bjørn Svin, don't miss it.'

Sofus Forsberg: click here

Sofus Forsberg is a danish composer, performer, dj, musician.
He previously released 2 albums No/1 and Udefra, both on JenkaMusic,
and appeared on various compilations, such as Rump Comp, Sonar 04,
Stella Pollaris 08, Psycrowdelica Home-Edition, B2 Mag, etc.
Sofus have also done a couple of Under Byen remixes, made music for movies and theater, re-worked a jazz duo's tracks, and is a functioning member of the Blood Sweat Drum'n'Bass Bigband and the impro/performance band Close To Water.
His
first electronic performance was in 98, with ADAT, an MS20 and some
effects, since then he have played loads of gigs, highlights could be:
Sonar 04 (BAR), No/1 release 02, Nordberg Festival (SWE), Germany Tour 03, Jazz Juice (Århus), Ekko Festival (Bergen), Psycrowdelica 07 (DE), John Peel show 04.

Sofus describes his music as follows:
'I'm
one of the old-schoolers of danish electronica where minimalismish
melodies, and cut-up found sounds were my trademarks. Now I try to
incorporate more improvisation and generativ sequencing into both
composition and performance, to make music of the vast streams of data
that floats around.
At the moment im creating some kind of rave listening music. Repetitousand complex. Something you can both dance and chill to.
'
We look more then forward to this Set!

Mr. Hifi Break Pop
calls himself a “lonesome beatwarrior, always on the lookout for things that make you go ‘what the fuck was that?’...
Drone produced a sparkling hi-def album for Upitup Records in 2007 which was announced as follows:
'Like a magician, Drone cuts up his lovely assistant Tracky B in his intro, before massaging your eardrums in a total of 10 tracks. Furthermore, Drone has the ability to make blind people see with their ears!
Married to his water-cooled computer, our German Wunderkind has created one hit after another. Never before has Upitup sounded fatter, faster, sci-fier, amazinger, awesomer.'
Feel free to download this masterpiece here and experience Drone live with fresh tunes on the 7th December, first time in Berlin.
